Salesforce: Service disruption EU9 - March 23, 2018 (Resolved)

On March 23 Salesforce experienced a service disruption on the EU9 which lasted for 39 minutes. The disruption started at 7:09 pm CET and ended at 7:48 pm CET.

The problem was caused by a resource contention on the database tier. Action was taken to isolate the source of contention and, as resources became available, performance returned to normal.
