ACTION REQUIRED: Update Network Settings for your EU5 & CS80 org by June 28

Follow

As an admin of a Salesforce org currently on the EU5 instance, we would like to inform you that we will be migrating the EU5 and CS80 (Sandbox) secondary instance from its current location in the United States to the European Economic Area (EEA).

This only applies to orgs on EU5 and CS80 (Sandbox) instances. To check on which instance your organisation operates, please visit this page, click on the question mark and enter the name of your domain.

What action do I need to take?
If you are restricting access to certain IP ranges or data centers, update your network settings to include the complete list of Salesforce IP ranges from the What are the Salesforce IP Addresses to whitelist? article by June 28, 2016 to avoid any unintended service disruptions. We made updates to our Email Settings IP Ranges in May 2016.

No action is required if you are not restricting access to Salesforce IP ranges.

How will this migration benefit me?
Following this migration, both the primary and secondary EU5 and CS80 instance will reside within the EEA.

When will this migration occur?
The migration of the EU5 and CS80 secondary instance will take place on June 28, 2016. During this migration you will have full access to your org on the EU5 instance.
