ACTION REQUIRED: Chatter Desktop will be retired Summer '18

Since your Salesforce org has used Chatter Desktop in the last 30 days, we wanted to let you know the feature will be retired with the Summer ‘18 release*. 

*Currently targeted for June 2018; date subject to change 

At that time, you’ll no longer be able to use the feature, and Salesforce will not provide any support for it. Chatter service to be no longer available without a browser. All existing users of Chatter Desktop for Mac and Windows will no longer be able to use the Chatter Desktop functionality.
Why are we retiring this feature?
Chatter Desktop is built on a third-party platform which is no longer supported.
What do you recommend?
We understand that this retirement may cause some disruption for customers using Chatter Desktop, but Chatter functionality is still available with in your browser. 

Windows 10 users (and above) are encouraged to download Salesforce Chatter, a desktop app, from the Microsoft App Store here:
